Every now and then my son goes to some birthday party. He loves that but also the whole preparation process. Usually we sit and together we make some tags. Here are some ideas that I would like to share with you.

This bunch of flowers is for all of you who left such a nice comments on my blog and flicker page. Just want to thank you and wish all the best.

I cut this wreath for myself. I just enjoyed making it. First I thought that this could be a nice frame for something, but then I just let it go.

Rooster

I bought this beautiful card stock today and wanted to cut something quickly just to see how does it looks like. He doesn’t have his wing yet, but I’m working on it.

Finished!

Last night I finished the whole piece. I like it. I think that I will make a x-mas tree out of it.

Polish style paper cut

I work from home, which means that when I am well organized I manage to do it all, meet deadlines, pick up my kid from school, cook, and cut paper. But… that happens only in ideal world; normally I choose to cut paper instead of translating some boring law regulations or Directives. This happened to me again. Here you are:

Big thanks/Veliko hvala/Muchísimas gracias

I want to thank Tea Jukić (http://hobbychic.blogspot.com/) for such a nice words for my work back on her blog. Thanks Tea, this means a lot to me! I descovered and started to cut paper in May of 2009 and blog thing is still new to me.

Fall

The fall actually came and rainy days made me cut some leafs. I am not quite sure what will I do with them but anyway here they are.

Japanese tea party

Dear friend of mine, she is preparing a birthday party for her daughter. It will be Japanese tea party. She made this beautiful kusadama flower as a decoration and swamp with cranes. Little girls will use chop sticks to catch as many cranes as they can. Adorable!
Happy birthday Ella!

X-mas tree

I know, I know, it’s still too early for Christmas but I wanted to share this. I simply folded long green stripe and attached the top part to the wall. Try to put some decoration. Let me know.

Fan

So, as I promised, I cut it. I made a paper fan. Looks nice on my wall.

Fan+candleholder

I wanted to make another paper fan but I failed at some point so… it’s seems that looks nice as a candleholder. I am not giving up the fan. Wait and see.

Do you have time?

Took me a while to finish this clock of mine. I refused to spend this weekend translating (which is my regular job) about renewable energy sources and all of my free time I dedicated to this.

City in my living room

Few months ago when I first started to cut paper I made this city cutout for the wall of my living room. This papercut was inspired by the great work of Vegas Lammy suzy-taylor.blogspot.com/. She is really something special.

I just love them

I am not done yet. Maybe I add some more, anyway, I’ll let you know.

New tags on the block

Today I had to wrap some present for my son’s friend’s birthday. As I am very fond of plain eco paper I was supposed to decorate it and this is what I came up with. Simply hang these tags on a ribbon or even hang them in your child’s room as a decoration. Look pretty nice.
